A Real Number is a Number that represents a continuous quantity.

• $\mathbb{R}$ is all real numbers
  • Contains $\mathbb{Q}$, the Set of Rational Numbers
• ${\mathbb{R}}^n$ is $n$ dimensions of $\mathbb{R}$
• ${\mathbb{R}}^{n\times m}$ is $n$ rows and $m$ columns
