Experiment

A repeatable procedure with a well-defined set of possible Outcomes, which form a Sample Space $S$ (the Universe of all possible outcomes). Each trial yields one $\omega \in S$; an Event $A\subseteq S$ is said to occur if $\omega \in A$.
