LL parsing is a Most common kind of parsing. Also called “LL(k) Parsing”, where k is the lookahead. k=1 is sufficient for most Programming Language grammars.
Lookahead
Lookahead is a concept in Parsing that refers to the looking ahead of the pointer that is walking through the string in order to evaluate the correct traversal through the Formal Grammar, in order to create a proper Parse Tree artifact.
