Difference Equation

Difference Equation

Jun 15, 20261 min read

A Difference Equation is a Differential Equation, but for Discrete-Time Systems. Anywhere you’d see a Derivative in a differential equation, you’d see a difference of discrete Signals. It is easy to see relationships between systems using Operator Notation, which is facilitated by the algebraic form of a system.
